An installation consisting of borrowed tables and chairs and one wall-painting

Pieces of furniture represent and aesthetically express social conditions; they reveal
different aspects of how one lives and what possibilities one has.
Furnishing the VIP lounge with borrowed tables and chairs is not only meant to mirror
in a documentary fashion different tastes and habits, but also to create an autonomous
space following the example of the so-called AStA room.
The room design is supplemented by a strict geometrical form on the walls creating a sort
of belt. The belt, running slightly diagonally from one wall to the next, mirrors an
abstraction of what appears to be a matter of course. This painting initiates a new spatial
situation and thus a schematisation of the living conditions embodied by the pieces of furniture.

Eine Installation mit ausgeliehenen Tischen und Stühlen und eine Wandmalerei

Möbel und Einrichtungen sind Statthalter sozialer Bedingungen und deren ästhetischer Ausdruck,
die verschiedene Aspekte von Lebensgestaltung und deren Möglichkeiten aufzeigen.
Die Ausgestaltung der VIP Lounge durch ausgeliehene Tische und Stühle soll nicht nur eine
dokumentarische Spiegelung deren verschiedener Geschmäcker und Lebensgewohnheiten ergeben,
sondern auch parallel dazu einen autonomen Raum, angelehnt an den sogenannten AStA Raum,
entstehen lassen. An den Wänden wird die Raumgestaltung ergänzt durch eine strenge geometrische
Form, die eine Art Band bildet.
Das Band, das leicht schräg von einer Wand auf die jeweils nächste läuft, spiegelt eine Abstraktion von
augenscheinlich Selbstverständlichem. Diese Malerei initiiert eine neue Raumsituation und somit eine
Schematierung der von den Möbeln verkörperten Lebensbedingungen.
