The draft of the work Stacked stripes and flying ovals was awarded the first prize of the international art competition by the company Carton Plast Deutschland/ Karton SPA Italy in 1999. The work was realised in March of 2000.
The work consists of a design concept for the two walls facing each other in the entrance lobby of Carton Plast’s new building in Dietzenbach. The motifs on the respective walls are to a large extent – but not absolutely – geometrical. There are slight ovals and diagonal stripes inclined by 1 degree instead of perfect circles and absolutely horizontal stripes. The minimal shifts, the inclination and the oval shapes are not immediately discernible.
Der Entwurf für die Arbeit Stapelstreifen und Flugovale wurde im Jahr 1999 mit dem ersten Preis des Internationalen Kunstwettbewerbs der Firma Carton Plast Deutschland/ Karton SPA Italy ausgezeichnet und wurde realisiert im März 2000 realisiert.
Diese Arbeit besteht aus einem Gestaltungskonzept für die zwei gegenüberstehenden Wände in der Eingangshalle des Neubaus der Firma Carton Plast in Dietzenbach.Die Motive der jeweiligen Wand zeichnen sich zwar durch eine starke Geometrie aus, aber nicht eine absolute. Es gibt leichte Ovale und um 1 Grad schräg stehende Streifen statt absoluter Kreise und absoluter, horizontal stehender Streifen. Die minimalenVerschiebungen, die Neigung und die Ovalformen, sind nicht sofort wahrnehmbar.
Mit den Motiven der Arbeit wurden die Hauptprodukte der Firma, Plastikzwischenlagen und deren Funktionen und Arbeitsvorgänge, thematisiert.
